Bikeep rack not locking or unlocking properly?

This video has some helpful tips - A blinking light and repeating tone tells you the rack is "ready to lock"

Dock responds to a card read with a solid light (longer flash) and single longer tone:

Dock is not available to this user ... This can happen for a number of reasons: 

  • Dock doesn't recognize the user card as valid

    • Card is not registered

    • Card is registered, but system user list hasn't updated yet (controller connectivity)

  • User may have another dock "checked out" - each user can only occupy one dock at a time. 

  • Dock may be offline for service.

  • Dock may be "checked out" by another user.

No blink light or tone?

If the rack doesnt seem to respond at all to your Clipper card... 

  • You must have a plastic physical transit card.  Clipper Mobile app is not supported.  More information here.

    • Need to add a card to your account?  Log in to register a new card.

  • Try another dock.

  • If no docks are responding, Contact us.
